The biscuit definitely smelled of chocolate and a hint of chocolate liqueur from making the milk chocolate, but after the first bite, I couldn’t really identify what the biscuit was. The faint scent of the brittle toffee was too weak to really make the aroma shine.
The lingering memory of the Crunchie biscuit I have is how the biscuits had a very good balance between its sweetness, the slight bitterness of the chocolate and the slight saltiness of the toffee. Although the custard was lost in the whole biscuit, I wonder if it was a bad thing that it was!
But, it didn’t taste like a Crunchie bar. The biscuits are pretty good to eat, but I wouldn’t have said it was comparable to an actual Crunchie bar!
In actual facts, These must be avoided in the mean time. When you see it in Walmart, Tivo, Shoprite, Phil Hallmark, or other top notch Marts, avoid em, Nor let sweet mouth spoil your body ooo.. lol.

ReplyDeleteHow credible is this news? there seem to be no news outlet reporting this information just independent blogs. With no credibility how do we know it is just a hoax? A Watsapp group share is not really a credible source is it? I am just wondering whether you did any research before warning people off this product. It would be nice to know of any credible sources that can confirm this.
